Many thanks to all who came along to Gifford Village Hall to find out about our progress with Phase One of Kijiji Project. Over 20 people were in attendance and we raised £88 from a raffle and donations on the night.
Howard Liddell, took us through photos and movie clips of the 3-week project in Songea, which took place last October, and answered questions from the audience. There was a great deal of interest in the project, and feedback was very positive.
We are now planning an event to take place in Edinburgh to further raise the profle of the Kijiji and to gain some momentum with our fundraising efforts. We hope to finish Phase One by October this year, but need to raise around £20,000 if we are to be successful with this.
