We are a Scottish-based charity that works with local communities in Tanzania to improve the lives of children affected by poverty and HIV/AIDS.
We provide financial and technical assistance to our community-based partner in Songea District. Our focus is on building the capacity of local people to achieve sustainable change within their communities.
Our partner in Tanzania is Good Samaritan Mission [GSM]. GSM is a community-based organisation in Tanzania and has been working alongside communities since 1999.
GSM provides direct services to the community that improve access to education and health care for orphaned children and young people, and their carers.
Our partnership builds on the skills, knowledge and experience within GSM, ensuring that the strategy is shaped by local people. In addition, we contribute skills and expertise that assist GSM to build its capacity and become more sustainable.
