Gaia Trip to Songea

Howard Liddell from Gaia Architects has kindly offered to help us conduct a Feasibility study into the development of our new sustainable building project. Howard will travel to Songea in November of this year, and will work alongside local staff, community members and other stakeholders to learn about local building techniques and consider sustainable methods of construction which could be used to establish a new resource for the education and support of children and families affected by poverty and HIV/AIDS.

Howard has generously offered to give his time and expertise free of charge. All we have to do is meet the cost of travel and accommodation!

African Buffet Night
Counting House
6pm - 8.30pm
Enjoy an evening of African food and music at the Counting House (32 West Nicolson Street) to celebrate World AIDS Day. There will be food provided by The Mosque Kitchen and some Tanzanian dishes provided by our friends from the Tanzanian Edinburgh Community Association. This is also a great opportunity to help support children and families in Tanzania by buying one of our virtual Christmas gifts for your friends and family.
